Cyperspace

Cyberspace

is a place

For the entire human race

to communicate and show our face

or choose to hide it

We can make up names

or play weird games

or we can just chill

and enjoy the thrill

spelling out our thoughts
in a chat room

Where we loom for hours

and might lose our powers

of controlling our time

if it's spent in haste

It'll be a complete waste

never to be retrieved

or returned

it will be burned away

with each passing day

and we will wish it could stay

just a little longer

We promise to be stronger

In resisting jumping into cyberspace

since it's a world of it's own

where one is still alone

Wake up America

Wake up America and realize
That you don’t have to believe
All the lies

Because what you hear only breeds fear
And makes the real facts unclear

Wake up America and you will see
What it means to be truly free

Wake up America and you will find
That with your eyes closed, you become
blind

Wake up America because you are great
And would be greater if you stopped the hate

Wake up America and stop the sins
Because with sin, you can never win

Wake up America and have a discussion
About how to stop all the oppression

Wake up America and start to care
To all people, you must be fair
The rich need to open a door to the poor
And solve their problems before there are more

We all need to lend a helping hand
All across this beautiful Land
In the spirit of love we can survive
If we wish to stay alive

Wake up America and feel the word
The word of our just lord

Just repent and He will forgive
And then in peace, you will live

Wake up and know He watches over you
And He sees all that you do

Wake up America and heed this Call
United we stand, Divided we fall

We all have a need to belong to something, why not this?

If we got to know each other

If people would just get to know each other by asking questions like where are you from? And where have you been?We would realize that our differences are petty and based on appearances.Even the ideological differences can be discussed and sometimes resolved by debates built on reasoning. Our similiraties definitely outweigh our differences and they include the 3 L's

1.Wanting to live

2.Wanting to love

3.Wanting to learn

On the other hand the 2 L's and 1 H of differences are:

1.Wanting to lie

2.Wanting to hate

3.Wanting to lose

What do you know about Iran?

Perhaps, the real question should be what don't you know about Iran? That is because you may not know that Iran is the freest democracy on Earth. When the president is elected he/she is elected by the people through the popular vote.Every vote is counted!Unlike in some other places.Let's not name names. So why is Iran always under attack, verbally that is?The answer is because it is a religious democracy. Some people may find those two words in the same sentence hard to believe, but the Iranians have managed to pull it off and successfully too.The ultimate legislator of Irans laws is none other than God himself or Allah as He likes to call Himself. And why should'nt He be!He gave us our life and if anyone has the right to govern it,it should definitely be Him.If people would just believe in that, then the world would be a much more peaceful place because the world is in the mess it's in, not because of religion, but because of the defamation of religion.

Be Like Mike!

As people who care about the world we live in we must try to keep the spirit of Michael Jackson Alive by trying to be like him in so many different ways!If there is one lesson we can take from his memorable life it is this:DON'T BE AFRAID TO BE DIFFERENT FROM EVERYONE ELSE!

This was the theme of his life.He was someone who stood up for what is right and did not want to live as most celebrities do,leading a degenerate meaningless lifestyle. He used his fame to change the world for the better.I think that the major media outlets do him a great deal of injustice when they keep refering to him in a negative way. They don't like him because he cared about morality and helping others. He had a conscience and he used it and voiced his opinions without fear of what others thought of him.His opponents tried to tarnish his image and failed.I really believe that God was on his side.We should all emulate his character because that is what would bring about the peace that he wished for in this world.

The War on Peace

Do you want to understand the "war on terrorism" from a truthful point of view?It is nothing more than a war on peace. That is simply because this war or wars has managed to diminish peace wherever it spreads. That's just common sense, people. It is also a war on dignity and based on racism. The people fighting on the opposite end are only resisting their annihilation and are struggling to exist. What do you expect them to do?Put their hands up and say "here I am kill me now"If you were in their situation, what would you do?

Who is Fatima?

I am a 26 year old Muslim, American, Arab, Palestinian,Texan woman who was recently in Palestine and Jordan and is now back in Texas,U.S.A. I am married with three beautiful daughters.I was born in Jersey City,New Jersey.I lived in the blessed land of Palestine as a child and returned to the U.S. at the age of 6 in Houston,TX. My father is originally from a town called Anaba, which is part of Israel now.My mom's family is still in the West Bank so I visit them when I go to Palestine.I was educated in public schools all my life. That is why I feel I need a reeducation!ha ha
Because I was raised in Palestine at the time of the first intifada in 1987,I am very passionate about being someone who stands up for justice and I want to educate others about the reality of the world we are living in.

What do you find inside?

You will find thoughts of wanting to be a truly global citizen because the world has gotten much smaller.Hasn't it! We can all express ourselves and share our thoughts with others so easily. It is truly a blessing and should be used in a positive way.

A Poem

A reflection is a kind of perfection
of symmetry to poetry
of love to hate
of early to late
It's a thought I may try to blot
from my recollection
what's there anyways
just a bunch of days
gone by, good bye to them
and their memories
their worries and their sorrys
A reflection, a mirror of thoughts
tied up in little knots

''What is popular is not always right and what is right is not always popular''
